All of my weddings are special to me for different reasons, but Bella and Marco were THE first couple to ever book me a few weeks after I launched Bloomhaus 🥹 I remember getting the email at the checkout at ikea and shrieking in excitement!

Bella booked me without much of a portfolio of my own, but trusted me from day one and has been my biggest hype girl ever since! Thank you for that moment at the checkout, it sparked a hope that set me up to believe I could really go out on my own! And for letting me cook and put garlic stems in your bouquet 🧄

We are scraping in with a little 2024 wrap up post! With Bloomhaus being about 14 months old, this year has well and truly been our foundation/breakout year and what a year it’s been! Sometimes it feels funny to say ‘our’ or ‘we’ because ‘technically’ I’m a one woman show, but in reality that couldn’t be further from the truth.

I don’t think I would have ever taken the leap, left nursing and started my own business if it wasn’t for the amazing support team around me. My family, (special mention to mumma bloomhaus), my friends, (Hannah I don’t know what I would have done without you!) my partner, my gorgeous freelancers, those I’ve freelanced with, other vendors, suppliers, wholesalers, growers, the amazing couples and companies who have put their trust in me and those here for following along, THANKYOU!

It’s with your help that in 2024 WE have watched Bloomhaus go from no portfolio of its own to booking 28 beautiful weddings, working for Netball Australia, the AFL, being a member of THEWED, being a part of styled shoots and cohosting unreal events such as Flour Galleria. If you would have told me a year ago this would happen I would have politely guffawffed in your face.

Although I’m super grateful for all that external stuff the real stuff I’m proud of is much more internal. (A small disclaimer that some years I’ve purely just survived let alone thrived and if that’s you this year, that’s enough!). I’ve met friends for life, become more confident creatively, learnt so much about myself and business and reset the boundaries of what I thought was possible.

So again, THANKYOU, we did it! I can’t wait to see what 2025 brings, this is only the beginning 💫
